The Art of Thai Yoga Massage

Thai Yoga Massage is a beautiful dance between giver and receiver, a flowing dialogue between my hands and your body. My hands provide relaxation for muscles, joints, and connective tissue, improved blood circulation, more peace in your mind, and stimulate your life energy. My movements follow the natural lines of your body, inviting relaxation and awakening. In this healing dance, four eastern principles are interwoven that deepen and enrich every touch. Together, they create an experience that extends beyond just the physical.

Metta

Loving Kindness

In my practice, Metta is the foundation of every touch. My hands speak a language of unconditional acceptance - they don't judge, they expect nothing. With every movement, I invite the body to open at its own pace. I see how this gentle, loving approach helps people to finally let go. It's beautiful to experience how a body relaxes once it feels: here I can be as I am.

Karuna

Compassion

When I feel tense muscles, or notice emotions stuck somewhere, I approach these places with deep compassion. My hands know: there's a story here. Sometimes I feel old pain, trauma stored in the tissue. With Karuna in my heart, I work very gently and patiently. I force nothing, but create space where healing can occur. The body tells me what it needs, and with compassion I follow that path.

Mudita

Sympathetic Joy

There are those magical moments in a massage when I feel energy starting to flow again, how a body remembers what it's like to be free. Those moments fill me with deep joy. It's like a dance in which both partners suddenly find the perfect movement. I celebrate every moment of awakening, every sigh of relief, every smile that appears when someone feels whole again.

Upekka

Equanimity

In my work as a bodyworker, Upekka is my anchor. It allows me to remain calm and centered, whatever happens during a session. Sometimes emotions are released, sometimes there is resistance, sometimes deep relaxation. Through Upekka, I can welcome all of this with the same calm presence. I am like a stable harbor where people can experience their own process. This equanimity creates a foundation in which transformation can naturally occur.

These four qualities are interwoven in every treatment I give. Together they form the essence of my work: creating a safe, healing space where people can return to their natural state of wholeness.

Practical information

Thai Yoga Massage is traditionally given on a comfortable mat on the floor. The massage is performed over clothing, so wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement. During the massage, I always work in dialogue with your body. The massage can sometimes be firm, but pain does not belong here. We continuously adjust to what feels good for you, so you can fully relax into the movement.
